Cổng21— FTP
FTP dùng TCP 21 cho kết nối điều khiển. Dữ liệu tệp đi qua kết nối riêng, nên đăng nhập thành công không có nghĩa là truyền tệp sẽ thành công.
Registry assignments, software defaults and local listeners are different things. A port number alone does not identify or secure a service.

Important limitations
Bản thân FTP không được mã hóa. FTPS và SFTP dựa trên SSH là các giao thức khác nhau, không thể hoán đổi chỉ bằng cách đổi cổng.

A port number has no inherent security — it depends on whether the listening service is correctly configured and whether it needs exposure at all.
